the brief

Carrying out over a hundred parachute displays each year 'The Red Devils' is the official parachute display team of the British Army. Having relied on corporate sponsorship for many years, the team faced the challenge of transitioning to self funding. For the team to survive, it would have to generate revenues from sponsorship, displays and the sale of tandem jumps… quite a challenge when the economy is in freefall.

Achieving the look and feel for the site was a challenge for the Gencon design team. A balance was found that presents the team, the regiment and the army in an appropriate light whilst conveying the excitement of this fast developing sport.
