Highly accessible website for disability consultancy

Client: Mary-Anne Rankin

The brief

The Mary-Anne Rankin consultancy provides advice & guidance to organisations wishing to offer first class service to disabled customers.

  • New brand & logo
  • Highly accessible website
  • Contemporary & intuitive design

The brief for the brand & specifically the logo was that it should stand scrutiny in the corporate environment, but not be too corporate. It should be attractive, memorable & contemporary, but also comply with the RNIB print guidelines.

It was essential that both the design & technical aspects of the site were beyond reproach. Many visitors would be using screen readers & would not be impressed with illogical design or poor navigation.

The work

  • Fresh, clean brand defined
  • Distinctive, relevant logo designed
  • Highly accessible, easily managed website created

As with all Gencon sites, using our content management system Mary-Anne Rankin can be highly responsive, updating text and images on the site with a few clicks.

The results

  • Flexible, cost effective communications tool
  • Delivered to time, budget and critical acclaim…

The site went live with the new branding on time and on budget to critical acclaim - "… I like it! It is easy to navigate, logical and concise. I had no problems as a screen reader user. Well done!"

High praise indeed coming from another disability consultant.
